We made steady progress between February and April 2026 through a series of community-focused initiatives in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement. The organization continued its malaria project, Safeguarding Mothers and Babies from Malaria,” with an emphasis on prevention, early testing, mosquito net use, and timely treatment for pregnant women, new mothers, and infants.

Through our Green camp project, we also completed the distribution of more than 750 tree seedlings to youth in Zone 1, including Tik, Pine, Mango, Lemon, and Guava. The activity supported environmental conservation and encouraged young people to take part in sustainable action that can benefit their households and the wider community.

In addition, RRSA worked with the Wikimedia Community User Group South Sudan to document cultural practices of several South Sudanese tribes in Bidibidi Zone 1, helping preserve cultural knowledge for future generations. The organization also joined a regional Refugee Rights Training in Arua, organized by RELON Uganda, to strengthen advocacy, legal literacy, and the capacity of refugee-led organizations across West Nile.
