Our Mission

To safeguard intangible and tangible cultural heritage of refugee and host communities through storytelling, archiving, skills transfer, and community-led cultural programs.

What we do

  • Community Oral History Projects in which we  record elders, artists & custodians.

  • Cultural Archives RRSA also collect, catalogue and digitize photos, songs, stories and objects.

  • Storytelling Workshops where we train youth and local storytellers in ethical documentation.

  • Advocacy & Research; at RRSA we produce policy briefs and reports to protect cultural rights.

  • Digital Story Platform; we publish curated stories, audio and video for global access.
