In 2023, Reliable Refugee Storytellers Association (RRSA) embarked on an important journey to strengthen the voices of refugees through storytelling and radio presentation training. The training was facilitated by a professional consultant whose expertise helped our staff gain practical skills that continue to guide our work today.
During the sessions, participants learned the art of crafting compelling stories and the techniques of radio presentation. The training emphasized how to prepare for podcast recordings, manage the technical side of editing, and finally publish polished productions ready to reach wide audiences.
For RRSA, storytelling is more than just a form of expression. It is a powerful tool for preserving identity, building community, and advocating for change. By equipping our staff with both technical and creative skills, we are ensuring that refugee voices are amplified with professionalism and clarity.

We remain deeply grateful to the consultant Mr. Romeo Ronald Lomora who guided the process and to our dedicated team who embraced the training with enthusiasm. Their commitment has already begun to shape the way RRSA produces radio programs and podcasts that highlight refugee experiences, challenges, and hopes.
This training marked a significant milestone in our journey of empowering communities through stories that matter. As we look ahead, RRSA will continue to use storytelling as a bridge between refugees and the wider world.
