Who We Are

Reliable Refugee Storytellers Association is a dynamic community-based organization dedicated to promoting access to open knowledge, economic empowerment, environmental protection, and peacebuilding initiatives in displacement settings.

Our Pillars of Impact

Peacebuilding

RRSA conducts peace building activities especially community sensitization, dialogue and focus group discussion to promote and achieve peaceful Co-Existence in Bidibidi settlement.

Storytelling

RRSA provides training and support to refugee youth interested in developing their storytelling and journalism skills. The organization prioritizes empowering refugees to tell their own stories and build their capacity as advocates for refugee rights.

Livelihood

We train community members on farming, financial literacy and micro-enterprise development skills to enable community members to launch valuable business to reduce extreme poverty

Cultural Preservation

The initiative creates a digital archive accessible to researchers, educators, and cultural institutions. By introducing Creative Commons licensing and digital preservation methods, the project  equip both grassroots and institutional partners with tools to ethically share and sustain cultural knowledge.

Health
